These terms apply to anything you buy from Nurail.com and to your use of this website. Nurail.com is owned and operated by Metropolitan Pipe & Supply Co. ("we", "us"). By placing an order or using the site, you agree to these terms, our Return Policy and our Privacy Policy.
Who can order
You must be able to enter into a binding agreement to place an order. Online orders ship to addresses in the United States only. For international orders, call us at 1-800-METPIPE and we'll work out the details.
Products and information
We sell genuine Hollaender® slip-on pipe fittings as an authorized distributor. We work hard to keep product descriptions, sizes, drawings and photos accurate, but photos may differ slightly from the part you receive, and finishes can vary from screen to screen. If anything on the site doesn't match what you need, call us before you order.
Fittings are components. You're responsible for the design of what you build, for choosing the right pipe and fittings, and for meeting any building codes or safety requirements that apply to your project. Technical documents on this site are provided for reference; check the latest requirements with your local authority.
Prices and errors
Prices are in U.S. dollars and can change without notice. If we find a pricing, description or availability error, we may correct it and cancel or adjust an affected order, even after it's been placed. If that happens, we'll contact you, and you won't be charged for anything we don't ship.
Placing and accepting orders
Your order confirmation tells you we've received your order; it isn't our acceptance of it. We accept your order when we process your payment and prepare it to ship. We may limit quantities, decline an order, or ask for more information to verify it. If we decline an order, we'll let you know and won't charge your card.
Payment
We accept Visa®, Mastercard®, American Express® and Discover® cards issued in the United States. We don't accept PayPal, gift cards or other payment services online.
Your card isn't charged when you check out. Our team reviews each order and then processes the payment for the items, shipping and any sales tax. Your card details are encrypted the moment they reach us and are deleted once your payment is processed. We never ask for or store your card's security code.
Promotional codes, when we offer them, apply only to the order they're used on and can't be exchanged for cash.
Sales tax
We charge Massachusetts sales tax on orders shipped to Massachusetts. We don't collect sales tax on orders shipped to other states, so you may owe use tax where you live. Tax-exempt customers: send us your exemption certificate before you order and we'll set up your account.
Shipping and delivery
We ship by FedEx Ground, FedEx 2Day and FedEx Standard Overnight. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout from your order's weight and destination, and they include packing and handling. In-stock orders usually ship the same or next business day (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays). Delivery times are the carrier's estimates and aren't guaranteed.
Title and risk of loss pass to you when we hand your order to the carrier. If a package is lost, damaged or missing items, contact us within 60 days of your shipping confirmation and we'll help resolve it.
Returns
Returns are covered by our Return Policy. In short: unused items in original condition can be returned within 30 days of delivery, a restocking and handling fee of up to 20% may apply, and pipe that's been cut or fabricated to order is final sale.
Warranty
Fittings are covered by the manufacturer's standard warranty from the Hollaender Manufacturing Company. You can read the warranty (PDF), and we'll help you make a warranty claim. Apart from that manufacturer's warranty, products are sold as is, and to the fullest extent the law allows we disclaim all other warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Metropolitan Pipe & Supply Co. isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your purchase or use of products or of this website. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Using this website
Please don't misuse the site: no attempts to break its security, place fraudulent orders, scrape it in bulk, or pose as someone else. We may suspend accounts or block access for misuse. Site content, including text, drawings and design, belongs to us or to our suppliers. Hollaender®, Speed-Rail®, Nu-Rail® and Rackmaster® are registered trademarks of the Hollaender Manufacturing Company. Links to other sites are provided for convenience; we're not responsible for their content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here when you place an order applies to that order.
