About the #62
The #62 closes an open pipe end with a domed cap whose head matches the pipe's own outside diameter, for a flush, finished look.
Like every Nu-Rail® fitting, it's cast from corrosion-resistant 535 aluminum-magnesium alloy and locks onto standard pipe with set screws. No welding, no threading, just a hex key. Loosen the screws and you can reposition it or take the whole structure apart later.
Where it's used
- Finishing rail and post ends
- Removing sharp pipe edges
- Keeping water and debris out of pipe
